It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the website of the Center for Innovation in e-Health (CIeS), an initiative born from the shared vision of Mohammed V University of Rabat and private partners committed to the development of digital health in Morocco.
Since our establishment in 2022, CIeS has established itself as a key player in the e-health ecosystem in Morocco, working tirelessly to accelerate the digital transformation of the healthcare sector and contribute to improving access to care for all citizens.
Our mission is clear: to make digital technology a strategic lever to address the current challenges of the Moroccan healthcare system. Whether it is to reduce geographical disparities in access to care, improve the quality of health services, or enhance the skills of professionals in the sector, e-health offers significant opportunities that we strive to realize through our various initiatives.
The success of our actions is based on our collaborative and multidisciplinary approach, bringing together researchers, healthcare professionals, digital solution developers, public institutions, and private companies around a common goal: to build a more efficient, more accessible, and more resilient healthcare system through digital technology.
Our achievements over the past three years are numerous and diverse: organizing two successful editions of the International eHealth Forum, publishing reference white papers, launching the first University Diploma in e-Health and Connected Medicine, supporting innovative startups, signing strategic agreements with national and international partners... These accomplishments reflect the unwavering commitment of our team and our partners to our shared mission.
As we continue our development, we remain more determined than ever to position Morocco as a regional leader in digital health innovation. Our future projects, including the creation of the Digital Health Lab, the development of our Digital Health Observatory, and the strengthening of our international partnerships, reflect this ambition.
