Our success story
Since its establishment in 2022, the e-Health Innovation Center (CIeS) has established itself as a major player in the field of digital health in Morocco and Africa.
Supported by the Association for its Development (ADCIeS), our center works through six main missions: accelerating the e-health dynamic, providing expertise and advice, training professionals, facilitating the incubation of innovative projects, catalyzing research, and promoting multidisciplinarity among the actors in the health ecosystem.

Foundation of the ADCIeS
Creation of the Association for the Development of the e-Health Innovation Center (ADCIeS) at Mohammed V University in Rabat under the presidency of Prof. Anass Doukkali, establishing a public-private partnership for the development of digital health in Morocco.
First White Paper on e-Health
Publication of the first white paper analyzing the Moroccan e-health ecosystem, serving as a roadmap for the center's activities.
First International e-Health Forum
Successful organization of the first IeHF in Rabat with 5,000 visitors, 70 exhibitors, and participants from over 15 countries, consolidating the role of CIES in the e-health ecosystem.
Launch of the University Diploma "e-Health and Connected Medicine"
First University Diploma in "e-Health and Connected Medicine" in partnership with UM6SS to train healthcare professionals in new technologies.
Second White Paper on Health Data
Publication of the white paper "Digitalization and Sharing of Health Data in Morocco" in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the CNSS.
Second International e-Health Forum
Organization of the second edition of the IeHF under the High Royal Patronage in Casablanca, bringing together over 6,000 visitors and 27 countries, with a focus on quality care for all.
Strategic International Partnerships
Signing of memorandums of understanding with HIMSS and IHE Catalyst to establish the first Health Interoperability Laboratory in Africa and improve digital transformation in Morocco.
Next International e-Health Forum
The third edition of the IeHF will take place from November 25 to 27, 2025, in Casablanca, reinforcing the positioning of CIES as a leader in e-health innovation in Africa.
